Get your book out of your head and into the hands of readers where it can start making a difference—for them and for you.
I can help.
There are three different ways we could work together:
Ghostwriting
I think of this process as sharing a brain–it’s your thoughts, ideas, and words coming out through my fingers.
Many proposals I’ve written have sold for multiple six-figures to one of the Big Five publishers, and many manuscripts I’ve written have won awards, been published in multiple languages, and hit multiple bestseller lists.
To inquire about a ghostwriting project, reach out to my agent, Madeleine Morel. (Her email is on my Contact page.)
Thought partnership and editing
I also love working with folks who want to do the writing.
As a thought partner, I help authors organize their thinking, map out their table of contents, and do a top-level edit to distill the idea and sharpen the writing.

One-off consulting
Maybe you’re not totally sure you want to write a book but you’d like to seriously explore the idea. Or maybe you’ve started writing but are feeling stuck. Or perhaps the book is done, or mostly done, and you’d like to strategize how to publicize it by leveraging the content you’ve just worked so hard to create.
I offer one-hour sessions where you can rent my brain.
You can book one of these sessions here.
Reviews
“Words don’t even begin to express how much gratitude I feel towards Kate and how much I’ve enjoyed working with her. It’s been an awesome journey!”
– Maddy Dychtwald, author of Ageless Aging
“Truly, I feel like I could probably put this submitted draft right into production as-is; it’s that clean. (I’m not sure I’ve ever said that to an author before!)”
– Michelle Howry, Editorial Director, Little, Brown
“I know for a fact that had I not worked with Kate my book would still just be a goal to achieve sometime in the future. Through her thoughtful editing and guidance she somehow made the book sound more like me than I ever could on my own.”
– Julie Brown, keynote speaker, networking expert, and author of This Sh!t Works (self published)
