Do This First- The Number One Productivity Hack

I used to think that if I could just find the right way to keep my calendar and track my to-do list I would sail through my schedule. The wind blowing through my hair (in a glamorous way). Getting all manner of crap done in record time. It’s a nice fantasy, isn’t it? One I’m guessing you’ve entertained as well, at least once or twice. But here’s the thing I’ve learned about productivity and how take good care of all the important things you care about—job, family, household, relationships, hobbies, pets, you name it:

There is no productivity hack in the world that will help you find that ease you’re craving if you don’t change the way you think.

Your thoughts rule what you pay attention to, how you feel about what you pay attention to, and ultimately, how the things you pay attention to pan out.

If you are telling yourself anything along the lines of…

  • “I am so overwhelmed”
  • “I can’t believe I have this much to do”
  • “There’s no way I’m gonna be able to pull this off”
  • “I must have been nuts to take this on”

… it doesn’t matter how many fancy productivity notebooks, lists, or time management books you have. You’re going to feel defeated before you even begin.

Listen, I get it. I know how easy it is to slip into overwhelm. We are all dealing with so much. There is always more to do. But I also know that it is possible to get all the great things done that are calling you, and to feel great along the way…if you get your thoughts to work with you instead of against you.

In the last year alone, I’ve written four complete books (one of my own, How to Be a Better Person, and three for clients), embarked on a year-long training that is so wonderful as well as the equivalent of drinking from a fire hose, stepped into the role of primary breadwinner for my family, stepped up to serve on the PTO at my kids’ school, resumed a home meditation and yoga practice, and gotten involved in a local political campaign. All while raising two kids with my husband and walking a dog twice a day.

I’m here to tell you that it is possible! Because when you learn how to get out of your own way, you become unstoppable.

And all you ever have to do is be yourself—you don’t have to transform into a Tasmanian devil of activity or a Robocop of efficiency.

It took me years of trial, error, working with coaches, reading time management books, and interviewing time management experts to piece together my approach to re-working your mindset for true fulfillment and success. And now I’m packing as much as I can in to an hour-long free online masterclass to pass it along to you. Because you are capable of such great things, and you deserve to feel great while you do them!

The class is:
